Senior Analyst

• Design and build automated, reusable performance views, dashboards, and visualizations that provide clear trend insights for various organizational levels.
• Build automated data pipelines using trusted sources aligned with strict data governance standards to ensure availability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Partner with Product teams to ensure data readiness alongside new platform functionality, and mentor junior team members through constructive design and code reviews.
• Align daily priorities with broader corporate strategy, proactively challenging work that does not drive strategic value, and use data insights to improve customer experience.

By streamlining operational processes and providing data-driven insights, this role directly reduces carbon emissions and accelerates the transition to net zero, contributing to OVO's mission to solve the climate crisis.

• Proven experience in a similar role with broad experience of team working and cross functional engagement.
• Mastery of advanced SQL features including analytic/window functions, CTEs, subqueries; understanding of performance/processing concepts like normalization, indexing, transactions, locking, and partitioning.
• Ability to construct narratives based on data analysis and effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Comfortable with a dynamic environment, adaptable to change, and continuously looking to improve.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per year, plus on-target bonus of 15%.
