Scientific Project Reviewers

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct project reviews covering a wide range of carbon dioxide removal and reduction technologies
• Prepare short reports following a set template, examining project proposals against six quality criteria
• Work under the oversight of a Carbon Direct senior scientist and adhere to rigorous QA/QC standards

This role contributes to advancing carbon removal technologies by ensuring quality and rigor in project evaluations, helping accelerate climate solutions.

• Scientific expertise in carbon dioxide removal/reduction technologies
• Ability to prepare structured reports following templates
• Experience with quality assessment frameworks
• Ability to work under supervision and meet quality standards
