Science Ambassador Fellow, Programs, Policy, and Advocacy

Two-year fellowship mobilizing scientists and building ambassador networks to advance democracy protection and counter authoritarianism through Science Rising.
- Establish and coordinate Science Ambassador cohorts from UCS staff and Science Network experts; recruit, train, and track progress.
- Lead public-facing ambassador role: present to audiences, represent UCS in coalitions, speak to media, and engage key stakeholders.
- Coordinate Science Rising national calls, high-value solidarity events, and mobilization opportunities for scientists and supporters.
- Requires advanced degree in science or undergraduate science degree plus additional experience; strong project management and event organizing skills.
- Requires volunteer management experience, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to equity and inclusion principles.
