Safeguarding Consultant

• Conduct a comprehensive Safeguarding Gap and Needs Analysis across War Child Fundraising Member offices.
• Identify gaps, risks, and strengths in current safeguarding arrangements and provide actionable recommendations.
• Assess governance, risk profile, training, partnerships, and legal compliance related to safeguarding.

This consultancy will strengthen War Child's safeguarding framework, ensuring a safer environment for children, young people, and adults at risk across its global operations, thereby enhancing the organisation's ability to protect vulnerable populations.

• Proven expertise in safeguarding, ideally within an INGO structure.
• Experience conducting safeguarding audits, gap analyses, or organisational assessments.
• Strong understanding of relevant legal, regulatory, and best-practice frameworks.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.

Budget range: €11,000 - €14,000 for the consultancy.
