RF Electrical Engineer

• Own the custom RF front-end PCA from architecture through first-article, including schematic capture, PCB layout direction, signal integrity simulation, and DFM hand-off to manufacturing.
• Define the RF signal chain from coupler interface through LNA, filtering, impedance matching, RF switching, and ADC input.
• Perform EMC pre-compliance and resolve emission issues before regulatory submission.
• Produce complete manufacturing documentation: fabrication notes, assembly drawing, BOM with approved substitutes.

This role directly contributes to GridIQ's mission of enabling a smarter, more resilient power grid by designing the core sensing hardware that monitors and optimizes energy distribution, reducing waste and improving reliability.

• 5+ years of RF or high-speed analog PCB design with at least one custom RF PCA shipped.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tool through Gerber generation.
• Hands-on VNA experience: S-parameter characterization and impedance matching.
• Strong understanding of controlled-impedance layout and high-frequency PCB stackup.
