Renewable Energy - Senior Advisory Consultant

• Support the development of regional energy market reports and act as an external customer-facing consultant.
• Enhance Hitachi Energy’s strategic consulting capabilities within the renewable developer community.
• Lead consulting projects of high complexity, modeling renewable, energy storage, hybrid resources, and developing price forecasts for North American power markets.

This role helps accelerate the transition to renewable energy by providing strategic consulting and market analysis that enables renewable developers and utilities to make informed decisions, ultimately reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable energy systems.

• Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in engineering, business, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience modeling North American power markets including macro-economic factors.
• 3 years of experience in consulting, implementing energy solutions, and managing project issues and risks.
• 3 years of experience in power production simulation and developing energy, capacity, ancillary services, and REC price forecasts for North American electricity markets.
