Regional Transport Risk Engineer

• Review logistics service providers' method statements for heavy lift shipments, addressing inadequacies before dispatch.
• Ensure operational compliance during delivery through desktop assessments of loading, lashings, and certificates.
• Train logistics service providers and internal stakeholders on risk control notification process requirements.
• Support the Heavy Lift logistics sourcing team by reviewing technical concepts during the Request for Information phase.

This role ensures safe and compliant transport of heavy lift shipments, contributing to the energy transition by enabling efficient delivery of transformers and other critical equipment while minimizing risks and environmental harm.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of transportation methods and logistics best practices for heavy lift shipments.
• Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills for managing diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to transform data into actionable insights and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
