Job description
- In this role, you'll lead multistate advocacy for AI governance, managing government affairs strategies and contract lobbyists.
- Lead rapid-response advocacy against harmful AI bills and advance pro-guardrails legislation.
- Build relationships with state lawmakers, attorneys general, governors' offices, and allied organizations.
- Represent ARI to national bodies including NCSL, CSG, and NGA as media spokesperson.
- Monitor legislative developments and recruit state legislators to oppose federal AI preemption.
