Mission

What you will drive

  • Support implementation of outreach, training, campaigns, and mobilization efforts in civic engagement, Census, and recovery/resiliency.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with community members, grassroots leaders, and community-based organizations.
  • Drive participation and turnout for campaigns, trainings, convenings, and collective actions.
  • Recruit and onboard new Coalition members, strengthen connections across member organizations, and support capacity building.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 1+ years of experience in issue organizing or electoral field programs, including community organizing tactics like digital campaigns and door-to-door canvassing.
  • Proven experience collaborating with BIPOC communities and commitment to racial justice and equity.
  • Strong project management skills, proficiency with Google Workspace, survey platforms, project management tools (Monday/Asana), and CRM (Hubspot).
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills; ability to work evenings/weekends and travel up to 40% within North Carolina.
