How to Apply for Regional Campaign Manager, Northern California

at Greenlight America

๐Ÿข About Greenlight America

Greenlight America is a unique mobilization hub that empowers local groups to accelerate the clean energy transition. Founded in 2023, it has already advanced ~15 GW of clean powerโ€”about 10x the Hoover Damโ€”by focusing on grassroots campaigns. Working here means being at the forefront of local climate action with a nimble, high-impact team.

About This Role

As Regional Campaign Manager for Northern California, you'll lead grassroots campaigns to get clean energy projects built, working closely with local partners and volunteers. Your strategic planning, organizing, and communication skills will directly influence the speed of renewable energy deployment in the region, making a tangible impact on climate goals.

๐Ÿ’ก A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a virtual check-in with the Senior Manager, then you'll spend time on calls with local partner organizations, coaching volunteers, or analyzing campaign metrics. You might draft a communication piece, attend a virtual town hall, or update your campaign plan. Afternoons could include strategizing with team members or mapping out next steps for a key project. The work is dynamic and collaborative, with a mix of planning, relationship-building, and hands-on organizing.
