Recruiting Manager

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full-lifecycle recruiters to achieve hiring targets and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Design, implement, and continuously refine compliant and effective recruiting practices that scale with the business.
• Build strong coalitions with hiring managers to provide strategic recruitment support and understand evolving business needs.
• Act as a key stakeholder in scaling talent infrastructure, including evaluation and optimization of People systems (e.g., ATS, HRIS, AI tools).

This role enables Joby Aviation to scale its workforce to bring electric air taxis to market, reducing urban congestion and carbon emissions through sustainable aviation.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of relevant skilled experience.
• Several years of leadership experience overseeing high-level individual contributors or other leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with spreadsheets, validate datasets, and extract insights.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing People systems (e.g., ATS, CRM, reporting tools).

Compensation includes base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Target base pay: $134,000 - $214,900. Benefits include paid time off, healthcare, 401(k) with company match, ESPP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and more.
