Project Scientist

• Lead and manage environmental projects including due diligence, spill response, assessment, cleanup, soil & groundwater investigations, and remediation implementation and oversight.
• Conduct and manage Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and related contaminant investigations.
• Manage active remediation sites, generate cost estimates, and prepare proposals and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with internal and external resources to complete project work.

This role helps protect human health and the environment by managing the assessment and cleanup of contaminated sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and contributing to sustainable land use and community well-being.

• B.S. degree or higher in Geology, Earth or Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3-5 years related experience in environmental assessment and remediation through Texas-based regulatory programs (TCEQ, RRC, TRRP, VCP, IHW, LPST).
• Ability to independently analyze technical reports and regulations, strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Preferred: Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.), or GIT/EIT with desire to obtain licensure.

Salary range: $66,000 - $99,000 per year. Up to $5,000 in sign-on and incentive bonuses.
