Job description
A 10-week remote fellowship pairing mentors with fellows to develop finished projects addressing animal welfare, artificial minds, and AI governance.
- Work independently 5–10 hours per week on a project you propose or join from a mentor's pre-defined options, with weekly mentor check-ins.
- Deliver a finished, standalone project output (or strong intermediate output with completion plan) by November 9, 2026.
- Receive introductions to collaborators, organizations, and funding or employment opportunities aligned with your completed work.
- Open to researchers, advocates, field-builders, and engineers committed to improving welfare for sentient beings.
- Program runs August 31 to November 9, 2026, entirely remote.
