Project Development Associate

• Execute last-mile development tasks for community solar projects, including tracking real estate items and operational obligations.
• Engage with external counterparties such as utilities, landowners, permit agencies, and development partners.
• Support Project Managers through construction and track tasks for incentive programs in Illinois and New York.
• Respond to third-party financing deliverables.

This role directly supports the development of community solar projects, accelerating the transition to clean, sustainable energy and reducing carbon emissions.

• 2-4 years of experience with a demonstrated passion for the mission.
• Proven experience understanding and navigating state and local laws and regulations.
• Deep familiarity with the community solar development lifecycle.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Base salary range: $110,000 - $130,000. Compensation may include discretionary bonus, health care, retirement benefits, paid time off, parental leave, and other benefits.
