Program Manager (Francophone)

• Lead and support paint programs in French-speaking African countries, including conducting paint studies, supporting governments to implement lead paint regulations, and providing technical assistance to manufacturers.
• Engage with policymakers across multiple ministries to introduce and enforce lead paint regulation.
• Collaborate with paint manufacturers to facilitate phase-out of lead-based paints and find alternative raw materials.
• Recruit and manage local consultants and partnerships, and contribute to strategy, planning, and knowledge sharing.

By running LEEP’s paint programs in multiple focus countries, you will help eliminate childhood lead poisoning, positively impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands of children. LEEP is one of the most cost-effective nonprofits, costing under $5 to avert one DALY equivalent.

• Full professional proficiency in English and French.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with ability to understand diverse perspectives and collaborate towards shared goals.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort with educating and persuading stakeholders.
• High agency, quick learner, creative problem-solver, comfortable with risk and ambiguity, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
