Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead and support paint programs in French-speaking African countries, including conducting paint studies, supporting governments to implement lead paint regulations, and providing technical assistance to manufacturers.
  • Engage with policymakers across multiple ministries to introduce and enforce lead paint regulation.
  • Collaborate with paint manufacturers to facilitate phase-out of lead-based paints and find alternative raw materials.
  • Recruit and manage local consultants and partnerships, and contribute to strategy, planning, and knowledge sharing.

  • Full professional proficiency in English and French.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with ability to understand diverse perspectives and collaborate towards shared goals.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort with educating and persuading stakeholders.
  • High agency, quick learner, creative problem-solver, comfortable with risk and ambiguity, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
