Principal Power Systems Engineer

• Perform high level bulk power system studies using various power system software.
• Direct and manage a team of electrical engineers to perform power system analyses including steady state, transient stability, short circuit, and/or EMT studies.
• Lead process improvement efforts and support business development activities including RFP responses and scope of work statements.

This role shapes the grid of the future by ensuring reliable and resilient power systems, enabling the integration of renewable energy and modernizing the electrical grid for communities and the environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a focus on Power Systems (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years in the electric energy industry with experience in power system studies and design studies.
• Experience with PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, CAPE, Aspen, and/or PSCAD (preferred).
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly.
