Principal Member of Technical Staff, Agent Workflow Systems and Evaluation

• Design, build, and operate MCP servers and enterprise tool integrations that expose SB Energy business systems as agent-ready capabilities.
• Develop API integrations for Monday.com, NetSuite, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, finance, procurement, project management, ERP, document management, and internal systems.
• Implement permission-aware automation and build agent workflows for status reporting, approvals, task creation, document retrieval, and cross-system workflow automation.
• Establish integration standards for tool reliability, versioning, discoverability, observability, error handling, and secure tool access.

This role directly accelerates the energy transition by building the secure integration layer that enables AI agents to optimize SB Energy's enterprise systems, reducing manual data copying and improving operational efficiency in delivering reliable, affordable clean energy.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related technical field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong software engineering background with practical experience designing APIs, backend services, integration layers, and production-grade automation workflows.
• Experience integrating enterprise SaaS and business systems using REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, OAuth, RBAC, service accounts, and secure credential-management practices.
• Experience with Azure, Python, TypeScript, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, deployment workflows, and operational support for production integrations.
• Practical understanding of LLM tools, function calling, MCP, agent workflows, tool orchestration, or similar agent-integration patterns.
• 5-8 years of software engineering, enterprise integration, platform engineering, backend systems, or automation experience preferred.

Base Pay: $160,000 - $190,000 per year. Total compensation may include discretionary annual bonus.
