Principal

• Lead and contribute to complex data center projects and programs, advising clients on portfolio management, reliability, risk identification, and performance optimization across planning, design, construction, and operations.
• Grow the construction consulting business by developing and managing new client relationships, generating significant revenue, and building a profitable team.
• Serve as main liaison between clients and Exponent, overseeing team performance and quality of services.

This role helps clients build safer, more reliable data centers and critical infrastructure, contributing to a safer, healthier, more sustainable world by mitigating risks and optimizing performance.

• M.B.A., M.S./M.S.E. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management and project advisory.
• Significant experience in construction advisory including portfolio, program, and project management, project controls, risk management, and data analytics.
• Proven business development and client management track record.

Competitive compensation including base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary. Base salary range: USD $230,000 - $320,000 per year. Additional benefits include mentoring, sponsorship, culture of learning, and flexible work-life balance.
