Power Systems Engineer III

• Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning studies including steady state, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis.
• Perform generator interconnection studies and ensure renewable/storage projects meet voltage ride-through requirements.
• Prepare technical study reports and participate in WECC working group meetings.

This role helps build a sustainable and secure grid by integrating renewable energy and ensuring grid reliability, directly contributing to climate change mitigation and environmental stewardship.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power systems.
• 2-3 years of experience as a power systems engineer.
• Experience with power systems software such as PSLF, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA.
• Experience automating/programming in Python.
