Mission

What you will drive

  • Provide policy expertise and guidance to support FCLP members' ambitions and commitments related to Integrated Fire Management (IFM).
  • Coordinate member engagement and collaboration across the FCLP membership at the workstream level, ensuring clarity of roles and effective delivery of collective priorities.
  • Coordinate FCLP participation in major events and global convenings as it relates to IFM (e.g., UNFCCC COPs, UNGA, COFO).
  • Foster and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including the Global Fire Hub, to advance shared objectives.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in environment, policy, law, international relations, economics or related fields with seven years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with five years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated policy expertise on integrated fire management, forest and climate issues at international level.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience drafting high-level documents such as declarations, commitments and negotiated outcomes.
  • Experience working with a range of government systems across developed and developing countries, and engaging with high-level actors including Ministers.
