Plant Controls Engineer

• Lead and support generator compliance testing and commissioning activities for renewable and conventional power plants.
• Conduct remote testing sessions, directing on-site technicians and plant operators during testing procedures.
• Monitor and analyze live test data to verify plant performance and identify potential issues.
• Support compliance testing for NERC standards including MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027.

This role ensures that renewable and conventional power plants comply with grid reliability standards, directly contributing to a stable and resilient energy grid that supports the transition to clean energy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in power systems.
• Experience supporting power plant testing, commissioning, or generator compliance activities.
• Familiarity with ERCOT and/or NERC compliance testing requirements.
• Experience with MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027 testing standards.
