People Operations Associate or Manager

Support and grow a research organization's people operations through onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and strategic HR functions.
- Own employee and contractor onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll, and visa sponsorship processes.
- Maintain internal handbook, manage HR service provider relationships, and track compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- At Manager level: design HR policies and processes, drive strategic decisions on benefits and providers, and mentor the operations team.
- Requires 2+ years people operations or HR experience (Manager: 5+ years operations including people management).
- Strong organization, systems-thinking, ownership mindset, and direct communication skills essential.
