Part-time Student Worker – Software Development Engineer in Test

• Assemble and wire test rigs for manufacturing test assets
• Deploy firmware and test configurations, run automated test suites continuously
• Monitor and document test runs, perform first-pass failure triage and routing
• Write and maintain test-run scripts, document setup and roadblocks, provide status updates

This role directly supports the development and validation of autonomous vehicle hardware, contributing to safer, cleaner, and more accessible transportation through rigorous testing and quality assurance.

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proficient with Linux/CLI, strong programming skills in Python and Git
• Hands-on hardware/lab skills (schematics, wiring, instruments)
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $30/hour. This is a contract position through a vendor; benefits eligibility determined by vendor. Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week), on-site work required.
