Part-time Human Resources Consultant or Employee, REMOTE in CA

• Manage benefits administration including annual open enrollment and serving as liaison to insurance broker.
• Oversee performance management processes, including annual staff evaluations and Executive Director 360 review.
• Lead recruitment cycle, hiring processes, and onboarding for new employees.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, policy development, and compliance with CA employment laws.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or directly related work experience.
• Ten plus years of generalist HR experience, with both large and small company experience preferred.
• Experience as a one-person HR department responsible for all aspects of HR.
• Strong understanding of California employment laws and effective communication skills.
