Outreach and Engagement Intern

• Create public communication toolkits and emails promoting Academy programs and events
• Promote Academy programs to like-minded organizations and online communities
• Compile and organize large contact databases
• Assist in organizing recruitment timelines and analyzing data to inform recruitment decisions

This role helps empower community leaders and experts to influence policy decisions, strengthening democracy by ensuring diverse voices are heard in the policy-making process.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
• Strong organizational, reliability, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Some experience in communications, writing, and content development

Part-time remote internship (up to 10 hours/week) for 12 months. Opportunity to attend events and network with policy experts and industry leaders. Direct mentorship and feedback from communications professionals. Professional portfolio development.
