North Carolina Partnerships & Field Organizer (Contract)

• Build and strengthen relationships with civic organizations, community groups, election officials, and local leaders across North Carolina.
• Organize and deliver behind-the-scenes election center tours to give citizens firsthand understanding of election administration.
• Support planning and execution of Democracy Day events, coordinating partners, logistics, and outreach.
• Identify and engage trusted local voices (e.g., former elected officials, veterans, business leaders) to amplify the initiative.

This role helps strengthen trust in democratic institutions by connecting citizens with election administrators, fostering civic partnerships, and elevating trusted community voices to promote transparency and participation.

• Based in North Carolina with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and political viewpoints.
• Organized, proactive, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in field organizing, community engagement, coalition building, or civic/nonprofit work.

Contract role with significant autonomy and opportunity to shape strategy. Travel throughout North Carolina (approx. 20%) required. Compensation details not specified.
