Nonprofit Senior Accountant

• Maintain accounting records in accordance with GAAP, including deposits, billing, AR/AP aging, and grant management.
• Prepare month-end reports, account reconciliations, GL maintenance, and financial statements.
• Assist with budget preparation, 990 preparation, annual audit schedules, and year-end reporting.
• Provide guidance to clients on Chart of Accounts, Classes, Departments, and maintain client relationships.

This role ensures nonprofit clients maintain accurate financial records and compliance, enabling them to focus on their mission and maximize their positive impact.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
• 5-7 years of strong accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct.
• Detail-oriented, ability to handle multiple deadlines, and consulting accounting experience with multiple clients.

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year. Full-time remote position with standard work hours (9am-6pm EST).
