What you will drive
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, from routine operational agreements to complex specialized transactions, including developing user-friendly templates.
- Advise on nonprofit governance, board matters, and organizational policies.
- Handle all aspects of corporate formation and restructuring.
- Conduct legal research on New York Non-Profit Corporation Law, employment law, and legislative developments affecting nonprofit organizations.

What makes you a great fit
- J.D. with strong academic credentials and admission to practice in New York.
- 5+ years of direct nonprofit corporate transactional experience, ideally within a tax-exempt organization or advising tax-exempt organization clients regularly at a law firm.
- Experience handling nonprofit governance, contracts, and corporate matters as a core part of practice.
- Ability to step into client matters with minimal ramp-up and limited training; genuine commitment to mission-driven work.
