New Member Experience Lead (Volunteer)

• Monitor the 'Introduce Yourself' space daily, reply thoughtfully, and tag relevant members in each intro post.
• Send a personal DM within 72 hours to every new member and guide them to a clear next action.
• Re-engage members who haven't engaged after 7–10 days with personalized messages.
• Test and optimize onboarding messages, suggest improvements to welcome flows, and help refine the 14-day activation journey.

This role ensures new members feel welcomed and become active contributors, strengthening the global climate network and accelerating climate action.

• Experience in community, partnerships, customer success, or connector roles.
• Comfortable using Circle, Notion, and WhatsApp.
• Naturally people-focused and relationship-driven.
• Available consistently 5+ hours/week.

Unpaid volunteer role offering: ownership of the new member journey at global scale, collaboration with Engagement Team and city leads, skill-building in retention and community design, meaningful connections across the climate ecosystem, and a clear path to leadership opportunities within 4WARD.
