Network and Infrastructure Engineer V

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable network and virtual infrastructure for hybrid/edge multi-tenant environments supporting X-energy's SMRs.
• Integrate network/computer/storage management systems with cloud and on-premises IaaS solutions into full-lifecycle operational service delivery and project management platforms.
• Develop and maintain security, availability, performance, and scalability for highly available and redundant network and virtual infrastructure.
• Take ownership of project requirement development, deployment, and operational release management.

This role directly supports the development and deployment of X-energy's advanced nuclear reactors, contributing to clean, reliable energy generation that reduces carbon emissions and combats climate change.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information management, or High School Diploma with a minimum four-year work experience.
• 15 years' experience for Level V (or 10 years for Level IV, 5+ years for Level III).
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise network and virtual infrastructure engineering and management of multi-site, hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with enterprise-grade routers, firewalls, switches, VPN, WAP, IPSec, CSP network security, SD-WAN, and on-premises hypervisors.
