NECHAMA: Development Director

• Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy to support operational needs and long-term growth.
• Personally manage a diversified portfolio including major donors, and lead solicitation across major gifts, campaigns, grants, and events.
• Lead institutional giving efforts including prospecting, proposal development, and reporting; engage corporate partners and community-based funders.
• Build a culture of philanthropy across the organization, partnering with CEO and Board to expand revenue streams and donor relationships.

This role directly supports NECHAMA's mission to provide sustained disaster recovery services rooted in Jewish values, helping communities rebuild after natural disasters while combating antisemitism and spreading hope.

• 10+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including major gifts and foundation fundraising.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing multiple revenue streams.
• Bachelor's degree required; relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, and CRM skills (particularly Salesforce); familiarity with Jewish philanthropic landscape strongly preferred.

Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance, workers compensation, disability, life, and dental insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401(k), 15 vacation days and 10 sick days annually, most federal and Jewish holidays.
