Microgrid Validation Lead

• Own validation strategy and architecture for microgrid control systems, including HIL testing environments and simulation frameworks.
• Establish verification methodology and standards, including automated test workflows and validation metrics.
• Define test cases and performance criteria in partnership with engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Integrate field learnings into validation by analyzing operating data and improving simulation models.

This role accelerates the clean energy transition by ensuring microgrid control systems operate safely and reliably, enabling scalable deployment of renewable energy and data center infrastructure.

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in real-time system HIL validation, power system model verification, or related disciplines.
• Experience with real-time digital simulators (RTDS, OPAL-RT, Typhoon HIL) and power system modeling tools (Simulink, Modelica).
• Familiarity with industrial control programming (C++, IEC 61131-3 Structured Text, Lua, Rust, C) and modern software development practices.

Total compensation: $188,500 - $205,400 (base salary + bonus in USD).
