Mechanical Engineer, Power Systems

• Support the design and analysis of mechanical aspects of high-power electronic products for hydrogen electrolysis systems.
• Partner with lead mechanical designers on layout, integration, thermal management, and structural designs from prototype through production.
• Create detailed drawings and documentation for parts and assemblies to support manufacturing and production.
• Collaborate with systems optimization and modeling teams to evaluate power system performance and cost tradeoffs.

This role directly contributes to the development of green hydrogen technology, enabling decarbonization of heavy industry and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience designing mechanical systems for high-power electrical equipment or power distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, structural analysis, and mechanical integration principles.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and detailed drawing creation.

Base salary range: $128,000 - $173,000 USD (MA Zone). Additional benefits include equity grant, time off, $75/month cell phone allowance, 4% employer 401(k) match, competitive medical/dental/vision, life insurance, short-term & long-term disability, and discretionary bonus.
