Role Autonomy & Expectations Managers remain directed in aspects of their scope of work and receive opportunities to contribute to moderately complex projects and/or processes within the job function, though are not expected to lead these projects autonomously. The Manager of Supply Chain Partnerships plays a crucial role in generating revenue within Nest’s wider Supply Chain and Ethical Handcraft portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Partnerships, this position provides operational, partnership, and business development support for Nest’s Supply Chain initiatives. The Manager will implement strategies to increase vendor participation in Nest’s Ethical Handcraft Program and Nest Seal licensing services, ensuring effective day-to-day relationship management and operational coordination. The manager will also be responsible for prospecting and cultivating new corporate and brand partners, in line with engagement strategies and plans developed by the Director of Supply Chain Partnerships, with a particular focus on the UK and European markets. This role will involve supporting the creation of pitch materials and tailored proposals to advance these opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and comfortable operating in a collaborative, fast pace remote environment where both executional support and independent ownership are essential to advancing Nest’s supply chain partnerships. Major Roles and Responsibilities (50%) Supply Chain Partner Engagement and Revenue Generation Support Support partner engagement across Nest’s key supply chain programs, including Ethical Handcraft, Verified Handcraft, Digital Curriculum, and supply chain consulting initiatives Develop and refine proposals, pitch decks, case studies, webinars, and other engagement materials for prospective and current corporate, brand, and vendor partners Support prospecting, outreach, and early-stage relationship development with brand, corporate, and vendor partners Work with the Director of Supply Chain Partnerships and the team to develop opportunities from prospecting to proposals to support revenue goals Provide relationship management support for vendor clients, with a focus on renewals, expanded participation, and long-term engagement Collaborate cross-functionally to gather impact metrics, artisan testimonials, and program updates for partner communications and storytelling Using existing tools, proactively report revenue generation and engagement progress against goals to Director of Supply Chain Partnerships (20%) Vendor Partnership Support Support implementation of earned revenue strategies focused on vendor (factory and artisan enterprise) engagement and satisfaction Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure effective understanding and use of Nest Ethical Handcraft Certification, Handcraft Verification, and associated claims marks, including the Seal of Ethical Handcraft and Handcraft Mark Assist in developing educational programming and marketing resources that enable vendors to leverage certification and strengthen storytelling with brand and retail partners. Contribute to internal reporting and tracking on vendor engagement, relationship development, and revenue growth. Utilize and refine system for tracking vendor revenue and renewal Collaborate with the supply chain programming team to ensure alignment with program activities that will inform vendor satisfaction and renewals. (20%) Industry Partner Prospecting and Research Research and identify prospective brand, corporate, and vendor partners, particularly in the UK and European markets, that align with Nest’s mission and supply chain model Research industry associations, trade centers, platforms, and ecosystem actors that could add legitimacy, value, and scale to Nest’s Supply Chain programs Identify conferences, convenings, and relevant forums where prospective supply chain or corporate partners may be present Support targeted outreach to high-potential organizations and networks that align with Nest’s growth strategy Identify and research new channels, events, and networks to cultivate vendor prospects (10%) Certification and Claims Management Support the implementation and management of Nest Seal and Handcraft Mark licensing services for vendor, brand, and retail clients, including drafting and issuing usage licenses in coordination with relevant team members In conjunction with supply chain data team, maintain accurate and organized tracking systems to monitor certification and claims usage on product and in contractual agreements Provide regular reporting on relevant certification and claims-related impact metrics
