Awards Management Consultant

• Provide guidance and identify areas of improvement to ensure award functions are implemented consistently across the global organization.
• Coordinate with Awards Management to develop, review, and revise award documents and support negotiations of award terms to ensure favorable outcomes for Winrock.
• Prepare and deliver award briefs, advising on award compliance requirements, and create sub-agreement templates to comply with various funders' requirements.
• Research and interpret funder rules and regulations, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and provide training on pertinent topics.

This role ensures that Winrock International's grants and contracts are managed in compliance with funder requirements, enabling effective program implementation that empowers the disadvantaged, increases economic opportunity, and sustains natural resources.

• Comprehensive understanding of the international development donor landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret diverse donor regulations, assess contractual risk, and develop practical compliance solutions.
• Demonstrated experience managing awards funded by private foundations and corporate donors, including negotiating and administering grant agreements, ensuring donor compliance, supporting reporting requirements, managing amendments, and advising project teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with foreign government and multilateral development bank funding regulations, including the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, EBRD, IDB, UN agencies, Green Climate Fund, GEF, and other international financial institutions.
