Manager of Power Procurement

• Lead the growth, evolution, and delivery of Ascend Power Procurement (APP) platform, including product roadmap ownership, commercial support, and client implementation.
• Drive alignment between platform capabilities and analytical methodologies, coordinate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver new features.
• Lead delivery of power procurement projects for services clients, managing teams of analysts for economic modeling, bid evaluation, and portfolio analysis.

This role directly accelerates the energy transition by enabling utilities and corporates to procure renewable energy and other power resources efficiently, using a best-in-class SaaS platform that ensures analytically rigorous and defensible procurement outcomes.

• 6+ years of experience in power procurement, power markets, resource planning, or energy analytics.
• Direct experience with utility or corporate power procurement processes (RFP/RFO design, bid evaluation, contract execution).
• Proven experience managing teams and owning a SaaS product roadmap.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
