Legal Director

• Represent survivors of forced and child marriage in family court, immigration proceedings, and ancillary civil legal matters (~75% of time).
• Coordinate Unchained's volunteer legal team and arrange pro bono representation for clients across the U.S. (~20% of time).
• Manage a paralegal and develop protocols and best practices for the legal department.

This role provides crucial free legal representation to survivors of forced and child marriage, helping them escape abuse and rebuild their lives, while advancing the movement to end these practices in the U.S.

• Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.
• At least four years of family law experience.
• Endlessly compassionate, patient, and nonjudgmental.
