Mission

What you will drive

  • Mentor and cultivate pro bono attorneys and law firms to ensure high-quality representation for LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants.
  • Conduct intake interviews, respond to legal hotline inquiries, and provide direct legal services on asylum, removal defense, and related issues.
  • Assist with impact litigation and policy advocacy to advance systemic change in immigration systems.
  • Develop training materials and organize CLE programs for pro bono attorneys.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • J.D. and license to practice law in any U.S. state or district.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; LGBTQ asylum claims experience preferred.
  • Excellent writing, public speaking, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to LGBTQ and immigration issues; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
