Role details
Execute legal and compliance operations for a global nonprofit, managing filings, grantmaking checks, and board governance across US and Swiss entities.
- Track nonprofit compliance deadlines, filings, and regulatory obligations; coordinate US 501(c)(3) and GDPR requirements with external counsel.
- Support international grantmaking due diligence, sanctions screening, and expenditure responsibility processes with finance and legal teams.
- Prepare board materials, maintain governance calendars, administer conflict-of-interest disclosures, and custodian governing documents.
- Requires 7+ years in nonprofit compliance, paralegal, or legal operations work; direct US 501(c)(3) or European nonprofit experience essential.
- Approximately 80 hours per month remote consultancy; self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable across multiple time zones required.
