Leave Specialist

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on leave-related matters, administering FMLA, ADA accommodations, state leaves, military leave, and employer-sponsored programs.
• Manage all phases of leave cases in UKG Leave module, coordinate with UNUM and other vendors, and ensure accurate time and attendance coding.
• Participate in the ADA interactive process, support return-to-work planning, and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Safety, and other partners to ensure compliance and aligned processes.

This role ensures employees receive legally compliant leave and accommodations, supporting their well-being and enabling the company to maintain a productive, inclusive workforce that powers critical electrical infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field with 2–3 years of leave/accommodation experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience (manufacturing or large hourly workforce preferred).
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, state leave laws, and STD/LTD programs.
• Proficiency with UKG timekeeping systems and case management tools; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and ability to manage high volumes.
