Your new role

We invite you to bring your geological experience into play as you support existing environmental investigation and remediation projects in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Metropolitan New York areas. In this position, the selected candidate will collaborate with numerous teams and will work closely with Professional Geologists (PGs) and Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs). Our team is committed to providing mentorship and skill development as key components for your career advancement. Also, there will be opportunity to engage with Engineers, and other technical experts on a variety of projects, which include geologic and environmental investigation, data evaluation, modelling, and reporting.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Execute geologic and site investigations, environmental sampling, and other field tasks in support of key projects/programs, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Remedial Actions, and post-remediation OM&M. Complete and review detailed and accurate field and project documentation.  Assist in successfully tracking field task activities related to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Provide geologic support for the remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water and groundwater involving remedies such as excavation, capping, containment, in-situ and ex-situ treatment, and subsurface vapor mitigation.
  • Coordinate and manage geologic and site investigation tasks supporting Project Managers, PGs, LSRPs, and engineers.  Coordinate tasks and support the development of technical reports (e.g., regulatory reports, work plans, technical memos, and presentations) pursuant to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide project support with the development of scopes of work, planning, and implementation of routine tasks including, but not limited to, soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling efforts.
  • Collaborate with teams made up of Engineers, Geologists, and Scientists. Serve as mentor to Early-Career Geological Scientists. Grow your capabilities and skills.
