Land Development Practice Leader

• Lead the growth and strategic direction of the Land Development practice in the Washington, DC office, including business development, client relationships, and project financial performance.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Provide technical guidance and quality oversight on land development projects, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements.

This role shapes the built environment in the Washington, DC market by leading sustainable land development projects, creating communities, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering with a strong background in land development.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and team leadership.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or similar licensure preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
