Junior Systems Developer

• Work within an established VB and C# codebase to investigate, troubleshoot, and implement changes, developing a thorough understanding of the system's architecture and data model.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and validate financial data, supporting investigations and reporting requests from Finance and Operations.
• Review the system from a user perspective to understand how business teams operate day-to-day, translating that into meaningful technical improvements.
• Write clear, maintainable documentation of system behaviour, business logic, and investigation findings.

• Understanding in VB Script is highly valued and central to success in the role.
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to write queries independently.
• Exposure to C# or a willingness to pick it up quickly.
