Junior Programme Officer

• Conduct desk research, compile data, and prepare background materials for reports and publications.
• Contribute to policy briefs, memos, project proposals, and internal documents; proofread and edit materials.
• Track relevant legislation, international frameworks, and sector developments; synthesize findings.
• Assist with organizing meetings, webinars, events, and provide administrative coordination.

This role supports IMPACT's mission to transform natural resource management where security and human rights are at risk, contributing to improved security, development, and equality through research, policy, and operational support.

• Master's degree in international relations, political science, human rights, geography, public policy, or similar.
• Full working proficiency in both French and English (oral and written).
• Demonstrated interest in natural resource governance, environmental justice, conflict, development, or human rights.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
