Mission
What you will drive
- Build and deploy internal AI-powered applications and automation tools across multiple cloud platforms and AI ecosystems.
- Design and build external-facing applications, such as chatbots, tailored to client needs in public health.
- Develop tools that collect, aggregate, and analyze data, replacing manual processes with intelligent automation.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and experiment with LLMs and AI agents to solve operational and public health challenges.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 1+ year of relevant experience (internship, coursework, or professional) building AI/ML applications or software engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with RAG systems.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini).
- Strong communication skills with non-technical audiences and alignment with BME's shared values.
