How to apply for (Junior) Business Analyst:in Energiedatenmanagement (w/m/d) - Remote

node energy

About node energy

node.energy builds software that optimizes energy systems for real estate to cut CO2 emissions and costs. Its SaaS product opti.node aggregates data for commercial operations of wind and solar plants and automates administrative and energy industry processes. More than 14,000 wind and PV plants, producing over a third of German green electricity, use opti.node. The team is remote-first with locations in Frankfurt and Freiburg.

About the role

As a junior business analyst in energy data management, you will work closely with the Head of Energy Data Management and the EDM team to optimize and shape energy data management processes. You will learn these processes through job shadowing, interviews with colleagues, and hands-on work, then document and analyze them. Your work directly supports the success of opti.node and the energy transition.

A typical day

A typical day might involve shadowing a colleague to learn a specific EDM process, conducting interviews to gather requirements, and documenting findings. You could also spend time analyzing data or processes to identify optimization opportunities, and then discuss them with the Head of Energy Data Management. Since the team is remote-first, you would collaborate via video calls and shared documents.
