Director, Major Gifts

• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue from major donors ($10k+) and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects.
• Lead the growth and management of the Tocqueville Society and mid-level Leadership Giving programs.
• Establish fundraising goals, analyze donor trends, and build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Mentor and coach a team of development professionals to achieve revenue goals.

This role directly mobilizes resources to expand educational opportunity, advance economic mobility, and strengthen community resilience in Los Angeles County, creating lasting positive change for underserved communities.

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising and developing direct reports required.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors, including securing gifts of $10,000 or greater.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000-140,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 403(b) plan, pension, life insurance, disability benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off.
