Chief People Officer

• Lead the vision and execution of a scalable, modern human capital strategy across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Bridge organizational silos and design a high-accountability people infrastructure in a remote environment.
• Empower the workforce to ensure the team is culturally unified, deeply supported, and structurally positioned to save LGBTQ+ young lives.

This role directly empowers the workforce of The Trevor Project, ensuring the team is culturally unified and structurally positioned to save LGBTQ+ young lives, thereby scaling the organization's life-saving impact.

• Executive-level experience in human resources or people operations, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable HR strategies in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong leadership and partnership skills to serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and executive team.
• Deep commitment to LGBTQ+ youth mental health and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Salary range: $260,000 - $280,000 per year. Competitive and commensurate with experience. Full-time, exempt position. Remote within continental US, Alaska, or Hawaii. Occasional travel required.
