Software Engineer - Federal Geospatial (Hub-Remote: DC or Philly Metro)

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from user story generation through design, development, automated testing, and operational support.
• Improve quality by actively participating in code-reviews and adhering to team quality standards.
• Work alongside other engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
• Own execution of small to medium-sized features with higher-level technical support.

This role supports federal clients like NASA, NOAA, and USGS in building tools for processing, distributing, and visualizing geospatial and Earth science data, enabling scientists and students to address environmental and socio-economic challenges.

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience building full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages; experience with Clojure and React.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging large codebases; experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
