IT and Website Support Contractor

• Provide general IT support including password resets, software installation, network troubleshooting, and managing Google/Microsoft/Zoom accounts.
• Update and maintain website content using WordPress, troubleshoot functionality, and create user guides.
• Support document retention implementation and assist staff with data hygiene tools.

This role directly supports the operational backbone of a global network fighting for a just, zero-waste world, enabling staff to focus on grassroots movement building against incineration and pollution.

• Familiarity with Google, Microsoft, Cryptpad suites, Slack, password managers, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of WordPress ecosystem (Gutenberg, page builders, plugins) and basic HTML, CSS, PHP.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical users and work with a global team.
• Commitment to environmental justice and GAIA's mission.

Meaningful work in a global movement; strong culture of mutual trust and respect; fully remote position; hourly rate $30-$35/hr (US-based) or commensurate with country of residence.
